About HEIP
Digital systems assumed a person was behind every action. That assumption no longer holds. HEIP exists to make human presence explicit again at the moments that matter, without asking anyone who they are.
When actions can be automated, trust must move with them.
What we offer
HEIP is available today: browser and server SDKs, the decision API, per-action policies, and reasons and records for every decision. Teams start with their highest-risk action and expand from there.
Book a demoWhere we're going
- Today, a decision at sensitive actions on the web.
- Next, more platforms, and more of the actions that AI agents take for people.
Why now
Automation that behaves like people is now cheap and widely available. Scripts, automated browsers and AI agents can click, submit and pay.
Identity checks happen once, at the door. After that, the session is trusted, whoever or whatever is driving it.
The missing piece is a check for a person at the moment of the action that matters. That is what HEIP adds.
Principles
Privacy first
Know a person is there, not who they are.
Explainable trust
Every decision has reasons your team can read.
Friction only when earned
Real people shouldn't pay for what automation does.
Honest about limits
No system is perfect, so mistakes must be cheap to catch and undo.
The name
HEIP stands for Human Entropy Integrity Protocol. “Entropy” is the natural unpredictability of real human use, the thing automation finds hardest to produce consistently.
